Job Description:

IKEA Peterborough CDC are looking to welcome a Facility Management Manager to oversee all Facility Management aspects in the store to optimise the value and efficiency of the property in a sustainable way.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee all Facility Management aspects in the store to optimise the value and efficiency of the property in a sustainable way
Responsible for property maintenance throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance, and improvement
Ensure co-workers, service providers and external partners have up-to-date awareness of all Facility Management frameworks, guidelines, and initiatives
Responsible for activities related to asset management, long term planning, budget estimation, execution, follow up, forecasting and reporting
Implement and evaluate supplier contracts at the store level in alignment with internal governance structure

Requirements:

Leadership experience
Facilities Management experience
Contract management
People development
Five to eight years of people management experience
End-to-end project management experience
Experience in a retail Facilities Management environment
Proven experience in budget management and supplier management
General knowledge to deliver, organise and follow up on 'Hard' and 'Soft' Facilities management services
Knowledge of sustainability impacts on facilities management (energy consumption, emissions, waste management, chemical products)
