Job Description

Facilities Intern – Full-time contract starting ASAP - April 28, 2027. Part of the Mercedes-Benz Canada Make Your Mark Internship (MYMI) Program for students in their final year of studies or who have completed studies in the past 12 months. The intern will support facilities planning, building management, event coordination, inventory management, vendor coordination, invoice processing, and administrative support.

Job Responsibility

  • Support facilities planning activities, including coordination of office space moves, layouts, and workspace projects
  • Manage and track Building Management and internal service requests
  • Assist with coordination of internal events such as town halls, leadership meetings, and conferences
  • Monitor and maintain office inventory, including office supplies, onboarding materials and swag, furniture and equipment, cafeteria supplies
  • Coordinate with external vendors for scheduled maintenance of office equipment and furniture
  • Process invoices and support basic facilities-related financial administration
  • Monitor and respond to the Facilities inbox, addressing employee inquiries and requests
  • Provide administrative support across the Facilities & Administrative Services function
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as required

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Graduation in 2025 or by June 2026 with specialization in Business Administration, Operations Management or Facilities Management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Candidates must have graduated in 2025 or expect to graduate by June 2026
  • Full-time contract role requiring 40 hours per week
  • French language preferred
