Facilities Technician ensures the safe and efficient operation of hospital facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, and medical equipment to meet regulatory standards. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively to support a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Responsibility:
Ensures the safe and efficient operation of hospital facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections
Maintaining HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, and medical equipment to meet regulatory standards
General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing required to support healthcare buildings
Performs preventative maintenance as assigned
Takes reading and keep records
Responds to customer complaints
Performing corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment
Performing regular scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment
Completion of work orders and has knowledge of applicable codes
In depth service of complex equipment such as pumps, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics and many types of hospital equipment
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
3-5 Years Industrial Experience
Driver's License Required
Nice to have:
Associate's Degree
