The Facilities Technician supports the overall maintenance and operational reliability of store facilities, equipment, and building systems. This role focuses on performing preventive maintenance, general repairs, and troubleshooting across a variety of mechanical, electrical, and structural areas. While prior carwash experience is not required, the Facilities Technician must be willing to learn and be trained on maintaining and repairing carwash equipment and related systems.
Job Responsibility:
Performing preventive maintenance and repair work on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, water heaters, structural components, and facility equipment
Ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently by diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and following maintenance schedules
Assisting with carwash maintenance and equipment repairs after completing company-provided training
Maintaining store and site appearance by repairing building doors, performing minor painting, installing decals, and supporting imaging needs
Ensuring a safe, clean work environment by following company procedures and regulatory guidelines
Documenting work performed, reporting irregularities, and communicating ongoing needs to maintain continuity among work teams
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred
One year of related experience in facilities, maintenance, construction, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or a similar field preferred
Willingness to train and develop skills in carwash equipment maintenance
Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals
Must be able to communicate effectively in English—both verbally and in writing—and perform basic arithmetic
Valid driver’s license with no major offenses required
Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, and electrical measurement instruments
Acetylene cutting and arc welding skills are preferred but not required
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
