Are you ready to contribute to a high-performing team in a dynamic environment? A leading company in the FM industry is hiring a Facilities Technician in Cardiff. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity of facilities and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Job Responsibility

Perform planned and reactive maintenance across various facilities and building systems.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while completing maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with subcontractors and manage their performance for efficient operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
Support the achievement of monthly KPIs and respond to out-of-hours emergencies.

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in facilities or industrial maintenance, especially HVAC and electrical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS systems and health and safety procedures.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
