Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment that supports the health, comfort, and satisfaction of employees, visitors, and customers. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to high standards of sanitation and cleanliness. EVS Staff members play a vital role in upholding the professional image of the organization and contributing to a positive overall environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and other high-traffic spaces
  • Use cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with established safety protocols, and manufacturer instructions
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure proper dwell times to maintain a hygienic environment across the Facility
  • Collect and properly dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers
  • Monitor waste receptacles for proper disposal and replace liners as needed
  • Follow all waste handling procedures and applicable regulations
  • escalate any contamination or hazardous materials concerns promptly
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and scrub floors as needed
  • Report any maintenance issues related to flooring or surfaces to the appropriate personnel
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, walls, mirrors, counters, partitions, and fixtures
  • Replenish restroom supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • And verify dispensers are functioning
  • Monitor and maintain par levels for cleaning supplies
  • replenish stock as needed
  • Track inventory and promptly request restocking through the supervisor, noting any shortages or backorders
  • Disinfect high-touch points and ensure proper dwell times to maintain hygiene and reduce cross-contamination
  • Coordinate with other Facility staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning coverage
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to address specific cleaning needs
  • Other duties assigned as needed
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules
  • Comply with safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to company SOPs
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on cleanliness and sanitation
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals adherence to SDS and PPE requirements
