Job Description

Reporting to the Facilities and Mobilisation Superintendent, this the Facilities Supervisor position is to oversee the daily operations of the Village Services Contractor to deliver high quality catering, cleaning, retail, and lifestyle services to PLS Employees and their contractors on the Pilgangoora Site and their Villages. This is a permanent full-time role which operates on a 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.

Job Responsibility

  • Day to day operational responsibility of Villages service delivery to the expected standard
  • Develop and implement contract management systems and processes with regards to the village service streams in alignment with the SOW
  • Support the identification, scoping, and delivery of village and facilities improvement initiatives
  • Interface with Projects teams with regards to facilities and infrastructure improvement projects
  • Drive safety leadership across village operations
  • Conduct regular audits of all village services
  • Undertake a duty of care for yourself and others
  • Provide clear and succinct plans and forecasts to the facilities contractor
  • Identify and communicate all services gaps
  • Lead and contribute to pre-starts
  • Ensure effective processes are in place to capture and report on KPI's, Monthly reporting, Financial Reporting, and other as required
  • Collaborate with other functions across Site Services
  • Lead facilities and administration meetings
  • Display and promote a strong team focus and collaboration
  • Undertake a duty of care for yourself and others
  • Promptly report all incidents and investigate
  • Contribute to cost savings initiatives and department efficiencies
  • Contribute to annual and quarterly budget preparations

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Business, Administration, or a related area
  • WA Drivers Licence - C Class
  • 5 years remote mining industry experience
  • >3 Years Remote Village Operations experience
  • Knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to the processes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • High efficiency using the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
