Assist the team in call out situations
Attend and ensure that IKEA store operations are well managed, assist the team leader and manger in maintaining the building services in good operational condition
Regularly check customer service areas and bathroom facilities and taking corrective action where required
Ensure all plant rooms and equipment stores are clean, tidy, dry, and pest free and secured from unauthorised access
Investigate and trouble shoot all equipment failures and malfunctions before calling outside repairmen, affect limited repairs that is within IKEA's own in house maintenance team ability and capability
If the issue is unforeseen, discuss / evaluate maintenance problem / service calls and agree to service delivery solution before calling in Service Office
Ensure that the planned preventative maintenance program is updated and in order, and that vendor performance is recorded and documented
Complete checklists and works as required and contribute to the effective operation the store
Ensure SOP’s are in place and that compliance documentation is available at all times and that the CAFM/CMMS system holds all data and files online
Together with your manager, plan, develop and execute improvements of the store with other Store Functions
Monitor and record building conditions and plant data within assigned building services resources and assist in preparing relevant reports setting forth progress, adverse trends
Contribute to maintaining the ‘Store In Shape As New' (SISAN) and follow up scheduled maintenance in accordance to the Maintenance Plan (5 years) to schedule repairs and respond to service calls of the Store, ensure all the building facilities assets and systems are recorded, and maintained in a good and serviceable working conditions at all times
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in facilities management/maintenance management/ building operations maintenance
Hands on knowledge in handling all technical aspects of building and facilities management with Project Management Experience
Be able to communicate and understand English - speaking and technical writing
Well versed in all local laws & regulations governing property maintenance, building management, statutory compliance and certification and licences
Able to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Skype, Outlook, etc)
Knowledge of and Experience in CAFM/CMMS Systems operations and reporting direction, the frameworks and goals, thereby creating meaning and commitment
Have a strong service ethic
Pro-active, can do attitude and problem solving skills are preferred where the IKEA values are a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and visitors
