Job Description

As part of our Facilities Management team, this position is responsible for leading security operations, managing security technology systems, and ensuring all security protocols are followed and documented in support of all on-site operations. This role requires technical expertise in security system programming and configuration, along with team leadership capabilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Programming and configuring security control systems, including adding new cameras and badge readers
  • Installing, testing, and maintaining CCTV systems and access control equipment
  • Monitoring and managing badge access systems, including user provisioning and access level modifications
  • Troubleshooting technical issues with security hardware and software systems
  • Coordinating with IT and vendors on system upgrades and integrations
  • Monitoring CCTVs for any suspicious activity or security breaches
  • Performing physical patrols around the site via vehicle
  • Recording all activities in Daily Activity Reports
  • Monitoring and recording all visitors on the site
  • Retrieving incoming packages
  • Reporting security concerns to the Site Manager
  • Checking and securing all Emergency Exits
  • Supervising and training junior security personnel and technicians
  • Leading shift briefings and conducting "handover" communications with relief staff
  • Developing and implementing security procedures and best practices
  • Managing work schedules and task assignments for security team members
  • Supporting Field and Repair Crews when needed
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching to team members

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in security operations
  • Technical experience with CCTV systems, access control systems, and security software programming
  • Proven ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot electronic security equipment
  • Experience with badge reader systems and access control management
  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform patrols and security checks
  • Intermediate computer skills for system programming, report writing, and database management
  • Experience leading and developing team members
