Facilities Reliability Specialist

Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. Your role at Baxter: Provide maintenance leadership to the Facilities Maintenance Department. This position will provide highly technical mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting and repair to complex system failures. This position will also be responsible for the coordination of facility maintenance activities related to the staff at the Round Lake Drug Delivery and Penicillin buildings. This position will direct the work of Facilities Maintenance Technicians to ensure that all PM and work orders are completed in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime and improve system reliability. This position will assign work to mechanics and ensure the coordination of work between all shifts. This position works closely with the maintenance manager, supervisors, planners, engineers, vendors, contractors, and customers. Must be able to communicate with upper levels of plant management concerning progress of the work or special problems that would affect production or the status of critical systems.
