Job Description:

Manage and maintain facilities and equipment across Japan with a focus on compliance, safety, and efficiency in a stable, global medical device company. Lead and mentor a team while developing strategic plans for operational improvements and managing budgets effectively.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the development and implementation of facility management strategies aligned with company objectives
Manage and supervise a team of facilities technicians and external vendors
Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance plans
Manage and control budgets for facility operations and projects
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Oversee fire and disaster prevention management across all facilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Develop and implement start-up and relocation plans for new facilities
Act as a liaison with government agencies and external contractors

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher
Minimum of 7 years of experience in relevant work, or at least 3 years of experience in leading relevant work
English - business negotiation level
Japanese - native level
High sense of urgency, ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and build trust
project management skills
