Job Responsibility

  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor building condition and compliance
  • Identify risks and improvement opportunities, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
  • Organize, manage and oversee routine and reactive maintenance programs
  • Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery
  • Lead tendering processes for hard asset maintenance and soft services (e.g., cleaning, security, landscaping) collaborating with the Procurement team as needed
  • Evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure value for money
  • Maintain statutory compliance across all sites
  • Keep accurate records of certifications and remedial actions
  • Support the Property Manager in developing long-term maintenance strategies and capital expenditure projects
  • Provide technical input for major works and assist in contractor selection
  • Contribute to service charge budgets by providing accurate contract costs, repair budgets, and forecasts for longer-term works
  • Work closely with the Property Manager, site-based teams, and administrative assistant for scheduling and reporting

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of building services, maintenance processes, and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance management and tendering processes
  • Excellent organizational and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and contractors effectively

Nice to have

Membership of IWFM (Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management), IOSH, or similar professional bodies
