Job Responsibility:
Conduct regular inspections to monitor building condition and compliance
Identify risks and improvement opportunities, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Organize, manage and oversee routine and reactive maintenance programs
Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery
Lead tendering processes for hard asset maintenance and soft services (e.g., cleaning, security, landscaping) collaborating with the Procurement team as needed
Evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure value for money
Maintain statutory compliance across all sites
Keep accurate records of certifications and remedial actions
Support the Property Manager in developing long-term maintenance strategies and capital expenditure projects
Provide technical input for major works and assist in contractor selection
Contribute to service charge budgets by providing accurate contract costs, repair budgets, and forecasts for longer-term works
Work closely with the Property Manager, site-based teams, and administrative assistant for scheduling and reporting
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of building services, maintenance processes, and compliance requirements
Proven experience in maintenance management and tendering processes
Excellent organizational and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple sites and contractors effectively
Nice to have:
Membership of IWFM (Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management), IOSH, or similar professional bodies
