Our client, a globally recognized Tier 1 commercial real estate firm, is seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a mixed-use asset in the centrally located in Brisbane. This is a critical 3-month contract designed to ensure operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and strict adherence to safety and compliance standards. You will be the primary point of contact for building operations, coordinating service providers, and maintaining the prestige of the asset.
Job Responsibility
Manage the daily facility operations, ensuring all plant and equipment (HVAC, fire, electrical, vertical transport) are maintained to the highest standards
Supervise on-site contractors and vendors, ensuring strict adherence to site rules, safety protocols, and KPIs
Maintain rigorous site compliance, including fire safety, WH&S, and incident reporting
Act as the face of the building, building strong relationships with commercial and retail tenants, and promptly resolving building-related issues
Monitor site budgets, review service invoices, and assist with utility reporting
Act as the first point of response for any building emergencies or maintenance requests
Requirements
Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in facilities management, specifically within high-density commercial or mixed-use assets
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and preventative maintenance programs
Regulatory Knowledge: Solid knowledge of Queensland WH&S legislation and building compliance requirements
Adaptability: Ability to hit the ground running immediately and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and tenants
