The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the FM Lead and the Account Director with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role manages facilities/plant operations teams which includes, but is not limited to, regulatory compliance, quality assurance activities, financial performance and reporting, and personnel management/development.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and direct the operations team
Ensuring that the Maintenance, Financial, CMMS, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance programs are performed as efficiently as possible
Maintain a working knowledge and ensures compliance with the Master Services Agreement (MSA)
Accountable for financial performance related to Operational Facilities spend
Track trends and recommend action plans regarding KPI/SLA below standard performance
Provide oversight/support in the delivery of maintenance, projects, and vendor activities
Ensure staff is trained in approved practices and procedures
Create a safe work environment for staff
Accountable for ensuring that all building systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with applicable State/Federal/Local regulatory requirements
Determine the degree of compliance with applicable standards
Requirements:
5+ years of facility management, plant operations, engineering, or maintenance supervision experience
Managerial experience required with proven budget and personnel responsibilities
Strong organizational and management within matrixed organizations
oversight of both technical and administrative staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Proficient in MS Office and MS Share Point
Computer proficiency in CMMS/Work Order systems
Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary
Technical knowledge of Basic Facility Systems such as Electrical, Plumbing, Boilers, HVAC, etc.

Nice to have:
College degree in a related engineering field, formal apprenticeship program or technical trade school
IFMA Certified Facility Manager, IFMA Facility Maintenance Professional, CFM Certified Facility Manager or other relevant certifications
Oversight of multiple facilities with varied functions
