As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you'll take responsibility for managing the complete facility technical infrastructure for our clients, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building automation systems. This critical role requires you to develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs that minimizaae downtime while extending equipment life and optimizing operational efficiency. You'll oversee technical staff and contractors, manage maintenance budgets and capital expenditure plans, and ensure full compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Job Responsibility:
Manage facility technical systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building automation while responding to emergency situations and troubleshooting complex issues
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs that optimize equipment performance and extend useful life while minimizing disruptions
Oversee and coordinate technical staff, contractors, and service providers, building productive relationships to ensure quality service delivery
Create and manage annual maintenance budgets and capital expenditure plans, implementing cost control measures that maintain service quality
Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments while ensuring compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards
Analyze energy consumption data and implement conservation measures to improve efficiency and sustainability performance
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and warranties using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Requirements:
Technical education in mechanical, electrical, or facilities management field or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities technical management
Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across multiple building systems
Experience with budget management and cost control for maintenance operations
Team leadership skills with demonstrated ability to develop staff and manage contractors
Knowledge of applicable building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards
Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications
Nice to have:
Professional certifications in facilities management or technical specialties (FMP, CFM, CEM, etc.)
Experience implementing energy management and sustainability initiatives
Background in emergency response planning and management
Knowledge of building automation systems and smart building technologies
Experience with capital project planning and implementation
Strong analytical skills for interpreting maintenance and energy consumption data
Background in continuous improvement methodologies for maintenance operations
