Job Description:

Join one of our clients, a renowned law firm recognised for its outstanding reputation in family and private client law. Work in one of the most stunning areas of London, with historical and cultural significance and join an incredibly professional yet friendly team. As the Facilities Manager, you will be at the heart of the firm's operations, overseeing a variety of essential services.

Job Responsibility:

Building Maintenance - ensure all buildings are safe and operational through regular maintenance and repairs
Leases - oversee all leases, rent, service charges, and rates
Health & Safety - ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and best practises
File Storage - manage the transition from physical to electronic files while overseeing storage solutions
Contract management - maintain relationships with catering and cleaning contractors to ensure high-quality services
Budget Management - manage facility budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor expenditures
Space Management- coordinate office moves and refurbishments to optimise space usage
Stakeholder Liaison - communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders regarding facilities issues
Energy & Sustainability - plan and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives

Requirements:

Facilities management experience within a law firm is a must have for this role
Budgeting & Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets effectively
Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to addressing issues as they arise
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building systems and relevant legislation
Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to motivate and manage staff and contractors collaboratively
