Facilities Manager oversees the development and supervision of the day-to-day operations and maintenance. The incumbent will be responsible for the smooth functioning and code compliance of designated facilities, including equipment and systems, by managing and directly supervising the activities of the maintenance personnel.
Job Responsibility:
Ensures the effective maintenance and operation of buildings, grounds, equipment and hardware
Leads, supervises, and performance manages facilities staff
Organize, plan, coordinate, execute, monitor and deliver minor work projects
Assist with major capital projects when required
Ensuring that work orders and service requests are completed in a timely, efficient manner
Order/purchase of supplies
Requirements:
Prior experience in service industry or contract services environment
Minimum of 2 years direct supervisory experience
University/College diploma or a Trade Qualification as a journeyman in a relevant trade
