Job Description:

As a Facilities Manager at IKEA Bangna, you will ensure the property and facilities are maintained in safe, working order. You will manage a team, oversee service contracts, implement maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with local regulations while supporting the daily operations of the business.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure that IKEA STORE has proper systems and teams in place to deliver results
Keep properties, buildings and supporting infrastructure in safe, working order
Provide calm level of assurance and command of the property and facilities
Manage and develop a team of 5 to 7 direct reports
Management of all FM service contracts and vendor management
Implement condition based & preventive maintenance and repair schedules
Plan, organize and execute maintenance repairs, minor installation and replacement
Carry out preventative maintenance of all MEP facilities
Manage facility operations, energy consumption, and maintenance of facilities infrastructure
Investigate and take corrective actions to overcome technical problems
Ensure buildings and property are compliant to statutory legal requirements
Perform periodical quality control inspections
Shared responsibility for business results, goals, and annual budgeting

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years management or supervisory experience in facilities management/maintenance management/building operations maintenance
Property, Technical or Engineering Degree from a recognized institution or relevant trade experience in Property and Facilities Management
Proven track-record of leading and developing a team with hands-on knowledge in handling all technical aspects of building and facilities management with Project Management Experience
Well versed in all Thailand local laws & regulations governing property maintenance, building management, statutory compliance and certification and licenses
Experienced in Construction Management
Knowledge of & experience in Commercial Contract Management and Law
Able to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, Outlook, etc)
Knowledge of and Experience in CAFM/CMMS Systems operations and reporting
Must be able to communicate and understand English - speaking and technical writing

Nice to have:

Member of IWFM, IFMA, IAM, RICS or local Property/FM Industry Institution
APM, PMI, or Prince 2 Qualified
