Job Description

The Facilities Manager will lead the Aramark service delivery on Facilities Management Contracts. They will use their experience and skills to deliver services to the client in an efficient and innovative way and where necessary provide the direction required to ensure all services are delivered to the highest standard in order to maximize contract growth and ensuring contract retention by ensuring Aramark becomes a valued partner.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, manage, and develop team members, including performance management, coaching, and succession planning
  • Ensure a strong customer focus across all operations and maintain effective relationships with key client contacts
  • Oversee facility operations, including work orders, preventative maintenance (PMS), and general repairs
  • act as the primary liaison for tenant concerns
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure service quality, standard methodologies, and cost efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and enhance current offerings
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety standards
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and people management practices
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation and best practices to strengthen client partnerships
  • Develop and deliver operational and strategic reporting, including insights on building systems, staff performance, and trends
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate specialized services (e.g., HVAC, major repairs, facility clean-ups).

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and operations management experience
  • Strong background in facilities management or related field
  • Experience with budgeting and financial oversight
  • 5+ years’ experience in a managerial role
  • Ability to plan and prioritize
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Track record of people management and development.

Nice to have

Labor relations experience preferred, including working with UAW or similar trade unions.
