Job Description:

The town of Norton is seeking a dependable and motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform custodial, maintenance, and light repair work across municipal buildings and grounds. This position supports the safe, clean, and efficient operation of town facilities and includes responsibilities for preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and seasonal operations, including snow removal. This position requires independent judgment, physical labor, and the ability to respond to operational needs, including after-hours situations when necessary. Work is performed in multiple municipal buildings and outdoor environments with exposure to weather conditions, cleaning chemicals, and physical labor demands.
