Job Description

As our Facility & Maintenance Manager in Moss, you will lead all maintenance and facility operations to ensure business continuity, operational excellence, and long-term asset reliability. You will play a critical role in ensuring high technical availability of production equipment, facilities, and infrastructure while driving safety, quality, and cost performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and develop the maintenance and facility organization to ensure high equipment reliability and operational continuity
  • Establish and monitor KPIs in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and machinery availability, driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Own the maintenance and facility budget, ensuring effective cost control, resource optimization, and accurate reporting
  • Define and execute preventive maintenance strategies and oversee maintenance tickets and schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Manage technical projects including investments, installations, commissioning, and handover of new systems or production lines
  • Negotiate and manage supplier and contractor agreements, ensuring deliverables are completed to required standards
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety, fire safety regulations, HACCP requirements, and internal quality standards
  • Act as the primary escalation point for all facility and maintenance topics within the fulfillment center
  • Source and manage MRO spare parts, consumables, and tools to maintain asset performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, HR, and Senior Management to support business performance and long-term growth

Requirements

  • Solid experience in maintenance, engineering, or technical facility management within a production or FMCG environment
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and developing people
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, reliability improvement, and technical project management
  • Experience managing budgets, cost centers, and supplier contracts
  • Familiarity with health & safety, compliance standards, and structured continuous improvement methodologies
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem solving and decision-making
