Join an on-call rotation for after-hours/weekend facilities emergencies

Job Responsibility

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department, managing a small team and external contractors
Ensure the hotel is maintained to brand standards in all guest rooms, public areas, spa, leisure centre, and back-of-house areas
Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance of facilities, systems, and equipment (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire safety, etc.)
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and other departments, ensuring minimal disruption
Maintain records and logs of all maintenance activities and regulatory compliance
Manage budgets for repairs, maintenance supplies, and projects
Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors and ensure health and safety compliance
Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within the hotel
Participate in hotel management meetings and contribute to continuous improvement planning
