Job Responsibility

Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and statutory compliance checks across the village
perform health and safety inspections, life-critical system testing, and daily operational checks in line with legislation and company procedures
ensure repair requests are prioritised, completed within target timescales, and delivered to a high standard
support the management of void properties, including water safety checks, flushing routines, and general repairs
work alongside contractors to ensure safe working practices, compliance with risk assessments, and quality workmanship
provide general handyman support to residents, including minor repairs and furniture assembly where required
maintain accurate maintenance records, raise purchase orders, and report defects using company systems
assist with staff induction, fire safety training, risk assessments, and resident queries or complaints
conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment
support the Maintenance Supervisor and take responsibility for maintenance operations in their absence
