Do you want to elevate the factory footprint of a global tech leader? As a Facilities Layout Engineer at ASML, you translate complex high-tech manufacturing needs into concrete infrastructure layouts for the world's most advanced lithography systems. Within the ASML EUV Factory, continuous expansion and new product introductions demand a strategic redesign of our production facilities. In this role as a Facilities Layout Engineer, you capture cross-sectoral input to build optimal space solutions, driving down product costs and minimizing time-to-market.

Job Responsibility

  • Design factory footprints in 2D AutoCAD under the mentorship of layout architects
  • Prepare diverse layout scenarios and precise facility specifications for future production lines
  • Challenge technical requirements from multidisciplinary teams to optimize space utilization
  • Maintain and update the central layout library to safeguard data accuracy
  • Resolve daily operational facility bottlenecks with structural engineering solutions

Requirements

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering
  • You possess three to five years of engineering experience within a high-tech manufacturing environment
  • You have practical, hands-on experience using 2D AutoCAD software
  • You master the English language at a professional level in both speech and writing

  • Provide technical engineering support to assigned operations unit as required with the objective of improving safety, compliance, reliability, and expense performance
  • Ensure the successful execution of run and maintain projects in their assigned unit
  • Support turnaround execution with timely and accurate engineering of repair plans for planned and discovery work
  • Act as an interface between operations, maintenance, reliability and inspection groups as part of the area team
  • Participate in task forces, incident investigations and drive the disciplined adherence to HF Sinclair’s management of change process
  • Design of piping system repairs, including identifying specification, metallurgy, layout, and supports for run and maintain projects in their assigned area
  • Understand/use equipment standards and ASME, API, and related industry codes
  • Work with the inspections department to generate and resolve Equipment Deficiency Reports (EDRs)
  • Generate and see to completion Management Of Change (MOCs) for their assigned unit
  • Maintain current and accurate process safety information for MOCs on their unit
