Job Description:

Under immediate supervision, this position will coordinate the logistics of conference room planning and arrange furniture in accordance with meeting room outline. The position will serve as laborer at various regional field office locations, moving furniture and equipment within field offices. Additionally, the position will deliver and check the quantity and quality of supplies and perform property control for the region. Job Responsibility:

  • Serves as Facilities Laborer
  • Operates various types of equipment, such as pallet jacks, dollies, hand tools, ladders, power carts, stackers, postage meter, duplicating equipment, faxing and copying machinery, etc.
  • Assists with moves of facilities
  • Delivers and checks quantity and quality of paper supplies to ensure paper is available to all offices
  • Performs scanning of property control on an as-needed basis
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above

Requirements:

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school

Nice to have:

  • 2 years of experience in a public or business organization performing facility moves of office furniture, equipment, etc. from one work site to another
  • 2 years of experience conducting inventories of facilities for a public or business organization
  • 2 years of experience in a public or business organization exercising basic knowledge of building maintenance equipment use and care in the performance of duties
