Job Description

The Facility Investment Manager will oversee the daily operations and maintenance activities of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems on the Russel Knox Building in Quantico, VA. This role involves managing a team of skilled technicians, ensuring efficient service call response, and implementing a robust preventive maintenance program. The Manager will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and by contract requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance activities of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems on the Russel Knox Building in Quantico, VA
  • Manage a team of skilled technicians

  • Directly responsible for the quality assurance, maintenance activities, maintenance schedules, and activities of all members of his or her team

  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and mentorship

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5 years' experience in maintenance management in a military or government facility setting
  • Strong HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems knowledge, including codes and regulations
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations
  • Must possess the ability to identify and resolve issues, establish priorities, and achieve desired outcomes
  • Must maintain licenses and/or credentials required for this position
  • Possess strong computer skills to complete data entry into work management system (e.g., Maximo)
  • Must be capable of obtaining, and shall be responsible to use, a government-issued DIBS card
  • Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite
  • Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
  • Effective verbal and written communication (English) and must be able to read and understand the signs, signals, and operating instructions
  • Must be well organized with extremely good time management skills
  • Must possess analytical abilities necessary to manage complex administrative, organizational, and contract matters
