Job Responsibility:
Design / modify process automation and manufacturing equipment
Lead multiple projects with minimal supervision
Prepare estimates for various tasks and projects
Lead capital projects both directly and through coordinating engineers
Drive Continuous Improvement Activities
Collaborate with plant and corporate groups as well as contractors and vendors
Run start-up, debug, and commission new manufacturing processes
Equipment life cycle management including: upgrades, replacement, and decommissioning
Provide technical support to facilities and process related equipment
Demonstrate proactive communication and problem solving
Responsible for supporting and achieving Value Improvement Projects (VIP’s)
Responsible for adhering to FDA Design Control standards at all times
Generate technical documents, reports, equipment specifications, and interpret technical drawings/schematics
Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer degrees are preferred)
1 or more years Engineering / Manufacturing experience, FDA regulated preferred
Programming experience with automation controls, PLC’s, and HMI’s
