Join Boeing’s Global Real Estate & Facilities Engineering team in Mesa, AZ where you will help power aerospace innovation. As a Facilities Electrical Engineer, you’ll design, safeguard, and modernize mission‑critical power systems that ensure safety, resilience, and continuous production for aircraft programs essential to both national defense and commercial aviation.
Job Responsibility:
Lead electrical design and documentation for buildings, equipment, utility systems, and site infrastructure
Manage construction, commissioning, and vendor activities
Drive reliability, standards, and infrastructure planning
Requirements:
Bachelors Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry
5+ years of experience supporting medium voltage power distribution, backup generators, and/or industrial lighting systems
5+ years of experience working in a facilities engineering role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
5+ years of experience reading electrical schematic diagrams
Experience with industrial control systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and instrumentation
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required
This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance post-start
Nice to have:
Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit software
Experience with Control Systems such as Allen-Bradley, NLight, Payne Sparkman, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, TRANE, Honeywell, Johnson, etc.
Experience planning medium voltage substation preventative maintenance
Experience with reactive maintenance for building electrical systems
