Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Facilities Contract Manager to lead the delivery of integrated soft FM services at a prestigious government site in Central London. This is a high-profile role requiring strong leadership, commercial expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence within a secure and sensitive environment. Working at one of the most important buildings in the country, you will oversee a wide range of facilities services, ensuring the highest standards of performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the Contract – Lead the full lifecycle of the FM contract, ensuring hard and soft services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification
Drive Operational Excellence – Implement best practice, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives across facilities services
Stakeholder Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, senior stakeholders, and internal support teams
Commercial Performance – Own the financial performance of the contract, managing budgets, forecasts, and cost control to deliver agreed outcomes
Health, Safety & Compliance – Ensure full compliance with statutory, contractual, and company health & safety requirements at all times
Lead & Develop Teams – Motivate, develop, and inspire operational teams and subcontractors to deliver high performance and engagement
Risk & Change Management – Identify operational risks and manage change effectively in a complex, secure environment
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Facilities Management or Contract Management role, ideally within a complex or regulated environment
Strong leadership capability with experience managing multi-disciplinary FM teams
Sound commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and P&L
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience driving change, improvement, and service innovation
A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
