The Facility Cleaning Technician maintains cleanliness and safety standards in specialized manufacturing environments, including clean rooms and plant facilities. This role ensures critical equipment and environments remain free of debris and contaminants to support optimal production operations.
Job Responsibility:
Execute specialized cleaning procedures in controlled clean room environments
Clean diffuser lighting, drop poles, chase areas, and DB panels using approved methods
Perform vacuum cleaning and surface wiping following contamination control protocols
Maintain cleaning logs and apply completion stickers with dates
Conduct annual cleaning cycles as scheduled
Perform deep cleaning during warm/cool shutdown periods
Service Supply Air Grills (SAG) and Return Air Grills (RAG)
Clean diffuser lighting chase systems using DI water
Replace identification stickers upon completion
Clean electrical distribution panels using feather dusters and vacuum cleaners
Maintain proper ladder safety protocols around electrical equipment
Document completion with dated stickers
Requirements:
Experience in industrial or clean room cleaning preferred
Ability to work safely with ladders and elevated cleaning equipment
Understanding of contamination control principles
Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks in various environments
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
