Job Description

Aramark is hiring Custodial Services Workers, Custodians, and Cleaning Crew Members to support operations at the Kansas City Convention Center. This role plays an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests attending conventions, conferences, trade shows, concerts, and major citywide events. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking reliable, part-time work in a professional event setting. Shifts are available throughout the day based on event schedules, offering steady event-based hours in a fast-paced team environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Cleaning restrooms, exhibit halls, and meeting rooms
  • Emptying trash and recycling bins
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Wiping surfaces and high-touch areas
  • Cleaning during and after events
  • Keeping walkways safe and spill-free
  • Reporting maintenance or safety concerns

Requirements

  • Previous custodial experience preferred
  • Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
  • Adaptable to guests’ needs
