We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our team in Morrisville, North Carolina. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring a secure, organized, and efficient environment. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring security protocols are followed
Issue and manage employee badges and oversee facility security measures
Coordinate with vendors for services and maintenance, ensuring timely completion of work
Process work orders and oversee their execution to maintain operational efficiency
Manage shipping and ordering tasks, including the creation of FedEx labels
Utilize Excel to support tasks such as cleaning up presentations and organizing data
Assist with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track facility operations
Oversee conference room scheduling and ensure spaces are ready for use
Support Kronos timekeeping system processes as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in facilities coordination or a related field
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Proficiency in Excel for organizing and presenting data
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage vendor relationships and oversee service delivery
Knowledge of security protocols and badge management systems
Experience with shipping and labeling tasks, including FedEx processes
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Kronos timekeeping systems is a plus
