Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Facilities Assistant with a major corporation, on-site in Kissimmee, FL. Onsite 5 days per week. Typical hours are 8am-5pm. Must be able to drive company vehicles and use hand tools.
Job Responsibility:
Install and mount items such as whiteboards, artwork, and minor furnishings
Perform small furniture/box moves and cubicle reconfigurations
Prepare and reset conference rooms for meetings and large events
Setup/breakdown conference setups and event decorations
Handle pallet setup, breakdown, and transport between warehouse and office
Assist with new-hire office setups, including sit-stand desks and monitor arms
Assemble shelves and other furniture items
Support office relocations and maintain clear hallways
Organize and clean copy rooms, storage rooms, and vacant office/cubes
Provide occasional breaks for front desk staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for visitors
Requirements:
Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely using proper bending and lifting techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent organizational and time management skills
