Job Responsibility:

  • Safely operate face loaders, plant loaders, and haul trucks in a production environment
  • Load and move aggregate materials efficiently to support plant operations
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance
  • Identify and report mechanical issues promptly
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, including plant and yard clean-up
  • Follow all site safety procedures and company policies
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production targets
  • Assist with additional site duties as required

Requirements:

  • 3 year’s loader experience
  • Valid G drivers license in good standing
  • Experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude — you understand your equipment and take ownership of its care
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions — heat, cold, dust, and everything in between

Nice to have:

  • Supervisory experience (an asset) — leadership skills are valued and recognized
  • Welder/welding experience (an asset)
  • Previous experience in Asphalt, Aggregate, Ready-Mix, or Roadbuilding environments (an asset)
