Job Responsibility

Receive prepped and marked fabric from Flat Prep and review work tickets for special instructions
Operate a tacking machine to attach rings or strobel to fabric shades accurately
Ensure all work is completed according to quality standards and specifications
Follow safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and reporting unsafe conditions
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and equipment
Assist with lifting and handling fabrics safely, asking for help when needed
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address questions or issues
Perform other duties as assigned to support production workflow

Job Responsibility

Operate cutting machines to cut fabric to specified lengths
Check orders for any special instructions from customers
Inspect fabrics for defects and flaws
Ensure correct counts of fabric bolts, wrap the ends of bolts, and create new bolt tags after each order
Follow all safety rules and regulations, report unsafe practices, and maintain floor safety discipline
Use production equipment, hand tools, and ensure proper technique for lifting and handling fabrics
Keep your work area neat and clean, dispose of trash properly, and participate in daily housekeeping activities
All other duties as assigned

Use tape measures and tools to ensure accuracy in measurements and placement
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety and housekeeping protocols
Report any equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly
Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs and workflow
