Job Description:

Assist Restaurant Manager in all phases of restaurant operations. Responsible for complete restaurant operation in absence of manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist Restaurant Manager in all phases of restaurant operations
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant & Bar
  • Ensure staff receive proper training on quality and service standards
  • Achieve and maintain budgeted revenues
  • Maintain labor cost through effective staff and labor management
  • Train staff in operational standards
  • Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals
  • Maintain set food and liquor costs
  • Maintain a floor presence during needed meal periods
  • Conduct routine brand standard audits
  • Monitor servers and bus-person adherence to service standards
  • Supervise service of guests
  • Assist manager to establish and monitor side-work duty completion
  • Maintain bank to Crescent standards
  • Read daily communication sheets
  • Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up
  • Check service stands and aisle areas
  • Check tables for cleanliness and proper set up
  • Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor requirements
  • Communicate daily with restaurant manager
  • Assist restaurant manager in conducting menu classes and taste panels
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
  • Comply with attendance rules

Requirements:

Previous supervision experience in an upscale restaurant setting
