Job Responsibility:
Supervise and coordinate all room service operations during assigned shifts
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms with high service standards
Monitor order accuracy, presentation, and quality before dispatch
Train, guide, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with regulations
Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth operations
Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance
Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock control
Assist in implementing service improvements and upselling strategies
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in F&B service, preferably in room service or hotel operations
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
Good organizational and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and service etiquette
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations
Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia
Must have the right to work in Malaysia
Nice to have:
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
