The IRD Supervisor plays a key role in delivering an exceptional In‑Room Dining experience that reflects Four Seasons standards of service, quality, and personalized hospitality. This position supports the Food & Beverage leadership team by supervising daily IRD operations, guiding service staff, and ensuring seamless coordination between service, kitchen, and guest needs, while consistently exceeding expectations.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise daily In‑Room Dining operations, ensuring efficient, timely, and high‑quality service delivery
Lead, motivate, and support the IRD service team during shifts, ensuring consistent Four Seasons service standards
Ensure a warm, attentive, and personalized guest experience in all IRD interactions
Coordinate closely with Culinary and Stewarding teams to ensure smooth operational flow and service execution
Monitor order taking, tray setup, delivery, and retrieval to ensure accuracy, presentation, and timeliness
Anticipate guest needs, handle complaints, and manage service recovery with professionalism and discretion
Oversee mise en place, service readiness, and overall service quality before, during, and after service periods
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP regulations at all times
Support inventory control, ordering procedures, and stock management for IRD operations
Assist with staff coaching, training, and performance development to drive service excellence
Foster a positive, collaborative, and guest‑centric work environment
Requirements:
2–3 years of experience in a Food & Beverage operational role, ideally within luxury hospitality or fine dining
Previous exposure to In‑Room Dining or similar service environments is a strong advantage
Fluency in English and Italian
Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach to supervising teams
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and polished professional presence
Knowledge of HACCP standards and luxury service practices
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect authentically with guests and inspire your team
A refined sense of taste, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences
