Job Description:

Supervises daily Food and Beverage shift operation and monitors compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures. Manages day-to-day operations verifying that the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis. Maintains the operating budget, and verifies that standards and legal obligations are followed. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise daily Food and Beverage shift operations
  • Monitor compliance with F&B policies, standards and procedures
  • Maintain operating budget and verify legal obligations are followed
  • Manage day-to-day operations ensuring quality standards meet customer expectations
  • Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service and operational needs
  • Order F&B supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
  • Support monthly self inspection program
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest concerns
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to solve problems
  • Provide guidance and direction to subordinates including setting performance standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Experience in managing daily F&B shift operations
  • Knowledge of F&B policies, standards and procedures
  • Ability to maintain operating budget and verify legal obligations are followed
  • Experience in supervising staffing levels and team management
  • Understanding of budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports
