Job Description

The F&B Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at the All Day Dining restaurant, responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless arrival experience. This role ensures efficient table management, coordinates reservations, and supports the service team to deliver exceptional dining experiences in line with luxury hospitality standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet and welcome guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements efficiently using the restaurant booking system
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date table allocation plan to optimize restaurant capacity
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus when required
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with tact and efficiency
  • Coordinate closely with service, kitchen, and management teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor dining room flow and anticipate guest needs during peak periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception/host stand area
  • Uphold brand standards, grooming, and hygiene at all times
  • Assist with administrative duties such as confirming reservations and managing guest databases

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Familiarity with reservation systems is an advantage
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia
  • Must have the right to work in Malaysia
