Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional welcoming experience to our Guests. Responsibilities will include coordinating Guest reservations and responding to inquiries, reviewing the reservations to organize the best table allocation. You will ensure you develop a complete knowledge of all menu items and daily specials, support the set-up of the room, maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing capacities of our servers, prepare bills and ascertaining Guests’ satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure an exceptional welcoming experience to Guests
Coordinate Guest reservations and respond to inquiries
Review reservations to organize the best table allocation
Develop a complete knowledge of all menu items and daily specials
Support the set-up of the room
Maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing capacities of servers
Prepare bills and ascertain Guests’ satisfaction
Set up host/hostess stand
Make recommendations as to the set-up of the room
Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information
Anticipate the needs of Guests, respond accordingly to inquiries or problems
Recognize regular Guests by name and utilize the their name consistently
Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance
Making sure that all the reservations have been linked with Key
Making sure that all Guests’ F&B preferences are in Golden
Requirements:
High school education or equivalent experience
Six to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage or equivalent experience
Previous experience in luxury hotels and/or fine dining restaurants or restaurant groups
Working knowledge of the restaurant aspect of Four Seasons services, policies or operations
Knowledge or the ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills
Be a team player
Bring personal touch and energy to guest experiences
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language
