Job Description:

AK Teaching are currently recruiting for several Teaching Assistants to join our team, primarily those with an understanding of EYFS. However, roles across KS1 and KS2 are also available. The role will involve supporting children from ages 3-5, with attention paid to supporting 1:1 and in a small group capacity. The role is to start immediately, and is a temporary position with the intention of the right candidate securing a permanent role through AK Teaching.

Job Responsibility:

Work closely with Class Teachers and other educational professionals to create a safe, stimulating working environment
Supporting children with SEND in a 1:1 or small group capacity
Lead interventions for children with additional learning needs
Support children NTE and those with EAL
Help class teachers implement classroom and behaviour management strategies
Where appropriate, assist with marking and assessment

Requirements:

Childcare experience is essential
Level 2 or 3 qualification is preferred
We are also open to recruiting unqualified staff
