Job Description:

Justteachers are supporting a friendly and inclusive primary school in Bury who are seeking a dedicated EYFS & Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to provide day‑to‑day support. This role will be starting in late April and is ideal for a caring and enthusiastic individual who enjoys supporting young learners and working closely with class teachers to promote positive learning experiences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1 in and out of the classroom
  • Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and classroom organisation
  • Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis when required
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

Requirements:

  • Have experience working with children in EYFS and/or Key Stage 1
  • Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners
  • Be flexible and confident in a supply role
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Able to provide two references from the last 2 years in a education setting
