Job Description

The Headteacher of a wonderful Primary School in Salford is looking for an individual who is committed, outgoing, and has knowledge or ideally experience working with children in Nursery and Reception. As a Long-Term EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will become a key part of the team, working with a variety of young children and providing consistent 1:1 and group support to help them take their first steps in education.

Job Responsibility

  • Help to support children on a 1:1 and classroom-based level in Nursery or Reception
  • Provide consistent group support during continuous provision and outdoor play
  • Delivering early literacy, phonics, and numeracy activities
  • Working closely alongside a dedicated early years team.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children (ideally within an EYFS setting)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • Strong work ethic and a warm, nurturing approach
  • Able to adapt to the different needs of each child
  • Flexible
  • adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner.
