Job Description

EYFS Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from September 2026. This EYFS Teacher role offers a full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing opportunity starting in September 2026. The EYFS Teacher will deliver high-quality early years education, creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that helps children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. This role is ideal for a dedicated EYFS Teacher who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive school setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support children’s development across communication, language, social, emotional, and early learning skills
  • Use observation and assessment to monitor progress and inform next steps
  • Promote positive behaviour, routines, and independence
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and early years staff
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Support smooth transitions into and within early years provision
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
  • Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times

Requirements

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching within EYFS
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Creative, patient, and nurturing teaching approach
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and committed to a long-term role
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
