Job Description:

We are recruiting a passionate and creative EYFS Teacher to join a warm and nurturing primary school in Accrington, starting after February half term. This is a full-time, fixed‑term position working within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The school is celebrated for its child‑centred approach, strong community spirit and commitment to providing an engaging, play‑based learning environment.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver high‑quality EYFS lessons that inspire curiosity and early learning
Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment that supports all areas of development
Assess children’s progress and contribute to EYFS profiles
Work collaboratively with support staff to deliver targeted early interventions
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching within EYFS
Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early years pedagogy
Two education or school-based references
Ability to deliver engaging, child‑centred learning opportunities
