Job Description

Justteachers is seeking a full time EYFS Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in June 2026 in the Skipton area to cover on a short term basis. The school is a dynamic early years setting with a clear focus on high achievement and personal growth. It offers an inclusive, supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore, play, and develop confidence. Staff work collaboratively, creating a professional culture that values innovation, dedication, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility

Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework that support early development
Use ongoing assessment to identify next steps, track progress, and inform future planning
Create a nurturing, safe learning environment that supports children’s emotional, social, and academic development
Differentiate provision to meet a range of developmental stages and individual needs
Support children in developing early literacy and numeracy skills through play-based learning
Provide clear feedback to support children’s progress and communicate effectively with parents and carers
Build strong relationships with pupils, promoting confidence, independence, and a love of learning
Maintain high standards of behaviour and uphold school policies

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with experience in Early Years education
Recent experience teaching within EYFS in UK primary schools
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and proven ability to plan and assess for progress
Enhanced DBS clearance with experience supporting children with diverse needs
