Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our warm, supportive team. This is your chance to play a vital role in a child's first steps of education, helping them achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, creative, and age-appropriate EYFS lessons
  • Work 1-on-1 or with small groups to boost literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Help design an inclusive, exciting, and safe classroom where children feel confident to explore
  • Observe children's progress and collaborate with teachers and the SENCo to ensure no child is left behind
  • Nurture the social, emotional, and physical development of young learners

Requirements

  • A Level 2 or 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working with young children within an EYFS setting
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development phases
  • Excellent communication skills, a patient and proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for early years education

Nice to have

  • Teaching experience
  • Teaching assistant experience
