Job Description

We are looking to recruit a full time Female Early Years Reception Teacher to join our excellent team of staff.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of the EYFS curriculum
  • Evaluate teaching & learning, set high expectations, drive improvements
  • Manage the EYFS team: collaborate with staff, model good practice, mentor colleagues
  • Liaise with SLT on strategic development of Early Years provision
  • Engage with parents, carers and support transition to Reception/KS1
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance with EYFS requirements

Requirements

  • QTS and substantial experience in Early Years teaching
  • Leadership experience / potential
  • Excellent knowledge of EYFS framework
  • Strong communication & organisational skills
  • High expectations of children's attainment and behaviour
  • An honours degree, as recognised by a British university, or its equivalent. In addition, level 2 qualifications or higher, in Maths, English, Science and ICT. Preferably a level 5 qualification, or its equivalent, in Physical Education
  • Prior experience of: planning, assessment, school improvement, Behaviour management, use of ICT
  • Preferably prior teaching experience in a UK school and experience of subject leadership
