Job Description:

Justteachers is seeking a nurturing and adaptable Primary Teacher to work within an EYFS classroom at a specialist complex needs school in Worcester. This full-time position is set to begin in September 2026 and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate. The school caters for children with a wide range of additional needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism (ASC), and complex medical or physical needs. The EYFS class is small, highly supported, and tailored to early developmental stages, with a strong emphasis on communication, sensory exploration, and holistic learning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and their families, promoting a consistent and safe learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential

  • Knowledge of communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC systems would be beneficial
  • Two education-based references are required
